God is a comedy written by Woody Allen. The play is set in ancient
Greece with anachronous hints of contemporary life and
occasional but prominent references to Allen’s views of life. The
play is filled with subtle ‘tongue in cheek’ dialogues which gives it
a universal appeal. Differential characterization, influential lighting,
relevant props and apt music make God a worthwhile watch.
